Seawolves Rally To Beat CMCC To Capture YSCC Conference Title

SOUTH PORTLAND, ME – The Southern Maine Community College Seawolves (18-17 Overall, 10-1 YSCC) defeat the Mustangs of Central Maine Community College, 3-2, to capture the 2011 YSCC Conference Title.

The Seawolves were connecting with the ball all day but just couldn’t seem to put any runs on the board. Down 2-1 going into the bottom of the 7^th inning sophomore, Becca Roberts (Litchfield, ME) drove in 2 runs to win the game for the Seawolves. Junior, Kim Hunt (Oakland, ME) struck out 13 batters to contain the Mustangs on the day.

Becca Roberts was named Offensive player of the Tournament while Kim Hunt earned the Most Valuable Player honors.
