Seawolves to cold to handle the heat of the Bulldogs

SOUTH PORTLAND, ME – Briarcliffe College (NY) sweeps the Southern Maine Community College Seawolves (12-16 overall, 6-0 YSCC) in today’s double header, winning game one 11-7 and the second game 20-5.
The weather was not the only thing cold today as the Seawolves struggled batting and fielding. In the first game, the Seawolves tried to keep it close but a combination of costly errors gave the Bulldogs the edge
In the second game, Briarcliffe put the game away very quickly scoring 7 runs in the first two innings on route to a 20-5 win. Center fielder, Tori Boschert helped put away the Seawolves with 8 RBI’s including a grand slam in the third inning off of Casey Garrapy (Underhill, Vermont).
The Seawolves are back on the field tomorrow April 17th to take on YSCC Conference opponent, Central Maine Community College at 12:00pm and 2:00pm
