Pitchers Duel in South Portland

SOUTH PORTLAND, ME – The Seawolves (14-16 Overall, 8-0 YSCC) sweep the Mustangs of Central Maine Community College in today’s double header , 2-0 in game 1 and 1-0 in game 2. With the two wins, the Seawolves improve their YSCC Conference record to 8-0.

Both games today featured dominating performances from each pitcher. Junior, Kim Hunt (Oakland, Maine) struck out 18 batters on the day while only walking 1 and giving up 4 hits. On the other side, freshman pitcher Candace Hall (Andover, Maine) struck out 17 batters on the day while walking 6 batters and giving up 12 hits.

The Seawolves will be back on the field tomorrow for a double header as they go to Holyoke Community College to take on the Cougars at 12:00pm and at 2:00pm.
