Seawolves Upset the Mustangs

SOUTH PORTLAND, ME - The Southern Maine Community College women’s basketball team upset Central Maine Community College tonight 72-68 in a huge YSCC matchup.  The Seawolves improve their record to 8-4 in YSCC play and 11-14 overall.

The Seawolves were led by Alisa Sweet who tallied her fourth double-double of the season with 23 points and 23 rebounds.  Freshman teammate, Christina Ricci scored 32 points and had eight boards.  The Seawolves used a team effort tonight and out rebounded the Mustangs 52 to 25.

The Seawolves will wrap up their regular season schedule at home on Saturday against Berkeley College (NY). Game time is set for 5:00pm.
