Seawolves Bring Home Another Big Road Win

The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's basketball team (6-1, 4-0) handed NHTI (5-3, 4-1) their first conference loss this evening 51-46.  The first twenty minutes was an intense defensive battle that found SMCC up 26-22 at the half.  The second half was much of the same as the Seawolves' defense secured the win. 

Freshman guard Emily Bard (Fort Kent, ME) led SMCC with 17 points and 3 steals.

The Seawolves return home this weekend to host Unity College at 5:00pm on Saturday and Vermont Technical College at noon on Sunday.
