Amira Jones Earns YSCC Player of the Week Honors

South Portland - For the week of November 9th Lady Seawolves forward Amira Jones (Chicopee, MA) was named Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) Player of the Week. Jones led the Seawolves to a win over PSU-Greater Allegheny with a 23 point, 11 rebound performance.

South Portland - For the week of November 9th Lady Seawolves forward Amira Jones (Chicopee, MA) was named Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) Player of the Week. Jones led the Seawolves to a win over PSU-Greater Allegheny with a 23 point, 11 rebound performance.

So far this season Jones has helped the Seawolves to a 3-1 overall record and is currently leading the team in points (13.3) and rebounds (12.3) per game. She is ranked eighth in the conference for scoring and second for rebounding. 

The Lady Seawolves will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Vermont Tech for their first conference game.
