HOW IT HAPPENED
SMCC and Great Bay battled evenly through the opening 20 minutes, with both sides attempting to create separation. The teams entered halftime knotted at 27-27 after a defensive-minded first half.
SMCC's defense locked up in the second half, limiting Great Bay to 24 second-half points while controlling the rebounding battle. The Seawolves outscored Great Bay 42-24 in the second half to pull away for the 18-point road victory.
