Seawolves Win by 20 at Great Bay Invitational

PORTSOMUTH, N.H. – The Southern Maine Community College golf teams put together another strong showing at the Great Bay Community College Invitational on Sunday, September 28th, 2025, at Pease Golf Course.

The Seawolves men captured the team title, carding a 298 (+14) to finish 20 strokes clear of runner-up Central Maine CC (318). UMaine–Augusta (330), NHTI (332), Paul Smith's (360), Kennebec Valley (366), and host Great Bay (392) rounded out the field.

FOR THE SEAWOLVES (MEN):

• Will Farschon fired a 68 (-3) to earn medalist honors.
• Drew Goulet carded a 74 (+3) to finish 3rd.
• Chris Keene shot 76 (+5), placing 4th.
• Dani Aguado added an 80 (+9), tied for 8th.
• Matt Quigley rounded out the lineup with an 81 (+10), 12th overall.

FOR THE SEAWOLVES (WOMEN):
Competing as individuals, all three Seawolves women placed in the top 20.

• Grace Thompson carded an 80 (+9), tying for 8th.
• Alexis McCormick shot an 83 (+12), tying for 16th.
• Charlotte Blanchard followed closely with an 84 (+13), 18th overall.
