Four Back: Seawolves Finish Just Shy of Husson at Purpoodock

CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine – The Southern Maine Community College men’s golf team finished runner-up at the Purpoodock Invitational on Monday, September 29th, 2025, posting a team score of 307 (+23).

CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine – The Southern Maine Community College men's golf team finished runner-up at the Purpoodock Invitational on Monday, September 29th, 2025, posting a team score of 307 (+23).

Husson University claimed the team title with a 303 (+19), while the University of New England (316), University of Southern Maine (318), and Saint Joseph's College (336) rounded out the top five.

FOR THE SEAWOLVES:

  • Will Farschon shot a 73 (+2) to place 2nd overall.
  • Dani Aguado carded a 77 (+6), tying for 4th.
  • Drew Goulet recorded a 78 (+7), tying for 8th.
  • Chris Keene finished with a 79 (+8), tying for 11th.
  • Matt Quigley posted an 85 (+14), tying for 23rd.
  • Tuck Walker (competing individually) also shot a 79 (+8), tying for 11th.
  • Brandon Chilton (competing individually) added an 85 (+14), tying for 23rd.

The Seawolves return to action at the YSCC Championship on Sunday October 5th at Sanford Country Club in Sanford, Maine.
