Top of the Pack: Seawolves Take First at UNE Invitational
KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine – The Southern Maine Community College men’s golf team claimed first place at the University of New England Invitational on Wednesday, October 8th, at Cape Arundel Golf Club, posting a team score of 301 (+17).

The Seawolves finished seven strokes ahead of the host University of New England (308), while the University of Southern Maine (313) and Saint Joseph's College (334) rounded out the field.
FOR THE SEAWOLVES:
• Dani Aguado fired an even-par 72 to tie for medalist honors and lead SMCC.
• Will Farschon carded a 74 (+2) to finish inside the top five.
• Drew Goulet shot a 76 (+4), followed by Chris Keene with a 79 (+7).
• Matt Quigley completed the scoring with an 83 (+11).
• Competing as an individual, Tuck Walker posted a 77 (+5).
The victory marked another strong team showing for the Seawolves as they closed out their fall invitational schedule with momentum heading into postseason play.

SMCC will compete at the USCAA National Championships at Penn State Blue Course, Pennsylvania, beginning October 12th.
