Softball Ends Fall Season Hosting NECA Tournament

Southern Maine Community College hosted the 2011 Fall NECA Softball Championship Tournament.  The Seawolves entered the tournament tied for the second seed along with NHTI.  UNH came in as the number one seed and Central Maine Community College finished out the four-team bracket as the four seed.

UNH eliminated Central Maine Community College in the first semi-final game 10-2 setting them up to face the winner of the SMCC-NHTI game for the championship.

The Seawolves fought hard but came up short losing to NHTI 4-0 in the second semi-final game.

NHTI would go on to win the championship against UNH in eight innings 5-4.
