Bio

Duane Romano enters his fourth season as Assistant Coach for the SMCC softball program.

Romano assisted in the Seawolves' 2025 championship run, supporting all aspects of player development. His contributions helped guide the team to a 32-7 record, a perfect 12-0 YSCC slate, a conference championship, and the program's first-ever USCAA National Championship. The team's success was bolstered by four All-Americans and two Academic All-Americans.

In 2026, Romano helped guide the Seawolves back to the USCAA National Championship as the number two seed; finishing with a 27-11 overall record. The team produced four USCAA All-Americans, three USCAA Academic All-Americans, and multiple conference and national Players of the Week.
