SMCC Women Fall to Central Maine

Despite being down only two points at halftime, the Southern Maine Community College women's basketball team lost this evening to Central Maine Community College 82-56.  The Seawolves didn't have an answer for the Mustang's depth and pressure in the second half.

Katelyn Benson (Westbrook, ME) led the Seawolves with 16 points and 6 steals while Kimmie Preston (Portland, ME) and Marissa Welch (Livermore, ME) each chipped in 10.

SMCC moves to 14-10 overall and 10-5 in conference play.  The women are in action again this Saturday, February 11^th when they host UMaine-Machias at 2:00 PM.
