South Portland, ME. The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's basketball team beat Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) opponent Hampshire College 63-19. The Seawolves started the game with a 24-4 run and never looked back.
The Seawolves were led by Junior guard Esther Palmieri (South Portland, ME) with 17 points, 9 assists and 3 steals. Freshman forward Maria Veino (Sanford, ME) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
