Seawolves Lose A Close One In Overtime
Augusta, ME. The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's basketball team lost a close one in overtime against Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) opponent University of Maine Augusta (UMA) by a score of 77-69. It was a tight game throughout, with multiple lead changes and the Seawolves up at half by a score of 30-28. SMCC gave up a late lead allowing it to go into overtime. The Seawolves were held to 4 points in OT.
SMCC was led in a losing effort by freshman guard Rogetta Donalson(Hyannis, MA) who had 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Freshman forward Maria Veino (Sanford, ME) added 14 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists. 
SMCC now 9-3 overall and 5-2 in the YSCC conference. The Lady Seawolves will travel to play Yankee Small College Conference Opponent (YSCC) University Maine Machias (UMM) next Saturday December 15th for their last game of the semester. Game is scheduled for 2:00PM.
