Lady Seawolves Ramp up Defense to Defeat Hampshire

Seawolves' shooting guard Zyrah Giustra (New Sharon, ME) scored a career high 14 points, going 100% from beyond the arc in her one attempt for the game, while teammate Amira Jones (Chicopee, ME) netted a game high 18 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to record her fourth double double in seven games. Center Alicia Hoyt (Steep Falls, ME) and forward Jaimi Poland (Skowhegan, ME) helped the Seawolves control the glass as they combined for 13 rebounds, the duo also chipped in 14 points.
The Seawolves, who lost three of there first five contests, are now on a three game winning streak which they will look to try to extend on Tuesday when they play at YSCC opponent UMaine-Augusta on Tuesday at 6pm.
