Bio

Amira returns to the Lady Seawolves for her second season. She led the team in nearly every statistical category last season, field goal percentage, free throw precentage, points and rebounds. 

2014-15 - Started in 23 games...led the team in scoring (13.1 ppg) and rebounding (9.8 rpg). YSCC Second Team All-Conference selection...USCAA All-American Honorable Mention. Scored a season high 22 points against Briarcliffe (NY).

Prior to SMCC - Attended Chicopee High School in Massachusetts where she played varsity basketball for four years and was captain her senior year. She helped lead Chicopee to a win in the Western Mass Championship in 2013. She was also a member of the Lady Ballers AAU organization in Springfield, MA.

Point guard Jordan Turner (Casco, ME) and shooting guard Sammie Griffin (Union, ME) combined for six made three pointers and 27 total points to lead the Seawolves to a 67-46 victory.
