Wolfpack Summer Basketball Camp

Train with SMCC Women's Basketball coaches and players in a fun, competitive environment designed to build skills, confidence, and game awareness.

The SMCC Women’s Basketball Wolfpack Summer Camp will take place August 3-6, 2026 at the SMCC HUB Gymnasium and is open to athletes in grades 5-9. Led by SMCC coaches and student-athletes, the camp provides a fun and competitive environment focused on building basketball fundamentals, confidence, and overall game awareness.

Campers will receive daily instruction in ball handling, shooting mechanics, passing, defensive concepts, spacing, and conditioning through a combination of skill stations, competitions, and live gameplay, including 1v1, 3v3, and 5v5 formats. Each day will feature structured skill development in the morning followed by drills, competitions, and scrimmages in the afternoon.

The camp runs from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM each day, with optional aftercare available until 5:00 PM. Check-in begins Monday at 8:30 AM at the HUB main entrance, with daily pick-up at 4:00 PM (or 5:00 PM for aftercare participants). Campers should bring basketball shoes, athletic clothing, a water bottle, and lunch, as meals are not provided.

Instruction is led by Head Coach Rachele Burns, Assistant Coach Amanda Brett, and members of the SMCC Women’s Basketball team. Daily recognition and end-of-camp awards will highlight standout performances throughout the week.
