HOW IT HAPPENED
SMCC established its defensive tone immediately. Jade Trueman (Sanbornville, N.H.) and Milo Seams (South Paris, Maine) controlled the glass early, while Kylie Young (Westbrook, Maine) sparked the offense with a pair of early threes as the Seawolves opened a 12–7 first-quarter lead.
