Bio
Amanda Brett enters her second season as Assistant Coach for the Women’s Basketball program at Southern Maine Community College, returning to her alma mater where she enjoyed a storied playing career from 2017 to 2020.
As a Seawolf, Brett was one of the most dominant post players in program history. She was a three-time USCAA All-American—earning First Team honors in 2018–19 and 2019–20—and was named YSCC Player of the Year and Final Four Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2018–19. Her senior year added another layer of accolades including a YSCC First Team All-Conference nod and multiple Player of the Week awards. Brett helped guide SMCC to multiple USCAA National Tournament appearances and a 24-win season in 2019–20.
