Even Finish: Seawolves Tie for Top Spot at UNE Invitational
KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine – The Southern Maine Community College women’s golf team finished tied for first at the University of New England Invitational on Wednesday, October 8th, at Cape Arundel Golf Club, matching the host Nor’easters with a team score of 257 (+41).

The Seawolves and UNE shared top honors, with the University of Southern Maine (286) and Saint Joseph's College (345) rounding out the leaderboard.
FOR THE SEAWOLVES:
• Alexis McCormick led SMCC with a 79 (+7) to place 3rd individually.
• Grace Thompson shot an 84 (+12) to finish tied for 5th.
• Charlotte Blanchard contributed a 94 (+22) to secure the Seawolves' team total.
NEXT UP:
The Seawolves travel to Penn State Blue Course, Pennsylvania, for the USCAA National Championships beginning October 12th.
