Auburn, ME. The Southern Main Community College (SMCC) women's soccer team battle back and forth with Central Maine Community College (CMCC) for 110 minutes before ending in a draw, 1-1. The Seawolves of SMCC came out aggressive in the second half following a scoreless first half. Junior forward Casey Garrapy (Underhill, VT) scored in the 58th minute to put the Seawolves up 1-0. The Mustangs of CMCC battled back to tie the game in the 74th minute. Following two scoreless overtime periods, the game ended in a 1-1 tie.
The Seawolves move to 5-5-1 overall and 4-3-1 in conference play. The women host Vermont Technical College this Thursday, October 11th at 2:00 PM.
