SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Interim Director of Athletics Ethan Wells published the findings of the semi-annual Spring 2025 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility—a higher threshold than those standards of the College.

CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Athletic Department held its annual awards banquet on Tuesday, May 6 at Purpoodock Golf Club in celebration of its student-athletes and their many successes throughout the 2024-25 academic year and athletic seasons.

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Athletics Department has announced Ethan Wells, former Head Women’s Soccer Coach, to be stepping down from the program.

POTTERSVILLE, N.Y. – The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women’s soccer team fell to the #1 Lynx from NHTI in a Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) semifinal contest on Saturday Nov. 2.

Women’s Soccer routs VSU- Randolph 6-0

RANDOLPH, Vt. – The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women’s soccer dueled against the Knights of Vermont State University at Randolph in a Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) matchup on Sunday, Oct. 13.

Seawolves win on senior day

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine – The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women’s soccer team became victorious, 8-0, against USCAA Div. 1 Bay Path University at Wainwright Sports Complex on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Lady Seawolves play to 0-0 stalemate at UMA

AUGUSTA, Maine – The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women’s soccer team played to a tie 0-0, against Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) member University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) at the CARA Fields Complex on Thursday, Oct. 3.
