SMCC Rolls to Straight-Set Win Over Great Bay

HOW IT HAPPENED:
SMCC settled in after an even start to the first, using a Yana Montell (Gardiner, Maine) service ace and a Kadie Madera (Sanford, Maine) serving run to close out a 25–16 opening set.
The Seawolves jumped all over set two with a 7–0 burst led by Gabrielle Price (Saco, Maine), who stacked two service aces and two quick kills during the run. Great Bay rallied to 10–10, but an Elise Kaplan (Cumberland, Maine) ace restarted momentum and SMCC finished the frame 25–14.
Set three stayed tight before Kaplan delivered back-to-back aces to tilt the scoreboard. Alyssa Rousseau (Yarmouth, Maine) added an ace and Price finished the night from the line and the middle as SMCC completed the sweep, 25–14.
