SeaWolves Cage Panthers in YSCC Bout
ALBANY, N.Y.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men’s basketball team took care of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) 104-55 in a Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) contest on Sunday, Nov. 14.

The SeaWolves scored first on a made three-pointer by junior captain Ian Regan (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) and never looked back getting up 12-3 to begin the game. SMCC led 32-25 with three minutes remaining in the first before closing the half on a 7-0 run.
The road team put up a season-high 65 points in the second half featuring 14 from first-year David Mervilus (Lynn, Mass.). The SeaWolves led by as many as 52 and connected on 55.3 percent shooting to roll to their fourth consecutive win.
Regan finished with a season-high 23 points and sophomore captain Cameren Cousins (Wells, Maine) totaled another double-double with 14 points and 13 boards. Albany's Joel Martineau led his team with 18 points.
SMCC remains perfect at 4-0, 2-0 in YSCC play; ACPHS slip to 0-3 overall.
Next, the SeaWolves with travel to the University of Maine at Farmington (NCAA Div. 3) on Wednesday, Nov. 17. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
