SeaWolves Golf Announces 2018 Match Dates
SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) golf program will shoot a six-match schedule this fall at the helm of Chuck Ott in his first year as Head Coach. Finishing as Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) runners-up the previous three seasons, SMCC hopes for its redemption round in 2018.

Finishing as Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) runners-up the previous three seasons, SMCC hopes for its redemption round in 2018.
The SeaWolves will tee off their season at a midweek mini-match with Bridgton Academy on Sept. 12th before hitting the links at Beaver Meadow Golf Club in Concord, N.H. on Sept. 15th. This is a course the SeaWolves have scored well in the past—carding a second place finish in 2017.
SMCC will host its annual match on Sept. 22nd at Purpoodock Golf Club in Cape Elizabeth where the team placed first and third in the individual ranks a season ago. The following weekend will be played at Augusta Country Club, again where SMCC has found success shooting a first place team finish in both 2016 and 2017.
The SeaWolves will rematch with Bridgton Academy on Oct. 2nd with hopes to improve their card from week one and make final adjustments before postseason play.
The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) two-day championship event is set for Oct. 7-8 at the Penn State Blue Course in State College, Penn. followed by the YSCC championship round at Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, N.H. on October 13th.
