Before SMCC
Ben Farschon is a 6'2" freshman from Brunswick, Maine, majoring in Liberal Studies (Art Focus) at Southern Maine Community College. A member of the Class of 2025, Ben was homeschooled and also attended Region 10 Technical High School. His honors include being named Student of the Quarter at Region 10, receiving the Portland Glass Scholarship, and winning the Joe Bornstein Arrive Alive Art Contest. He also earned the Coaches Award on the Brunswick High School golf team.

CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine – The Southern Maine Community College golf programs showcased thier depth at the Purpoodock Invitational on Saturday, September 21, 2025. The SMCC Men’s team competed as two teams (A and B). The A team captured the title with a 306 (+22), while the B team secured second place with a 327 (+43).
