ALBANY, N.Y. – The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's soccer team made it five straight conference wins with a commanding 5-0 shutout over Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
SMCC wasted no time, erupting for five goals in the first half to put the game out of reach early. The Seawolves applied relentless pressure with 11 shots on goal and controlled the tempo from the opening whistle.
In the second half, SMCC rotated personnel and focused on maintaining possession while preserving the clean sheet. The back line and goalkeeper Adao Lufumbu (Portland, Maine), kept Albany Pharmacy at bay, allowing just two shots on target and securing the team's third straight shutout.
