Hats Off: Sehr’s Hat Trick Powers Seawolves Past Massasoit

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Senior forward Louis Sehr (Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire) headlined the day with a hat trick, scoring once in the first half and twice in the second to lead the Seawolves' attack. He opened the scoring in the 19th minute, finishing a pass from Tim Eulenberger (Iffezheim, Germany) to make it 1-0.
Sehr struck again just 53 seconds into the second half off another Eulenberger feed, and completed the hat trick in the 66th minute — this time assisted by both Eulenberger and Kaden Pillsbury (Strong, Maine) to stretch the lead to 3-0.
Massasoit's Nevyn Fontes got one back in the 73rd minute with an unassisted effort, but Jaxon Olsen (Gardiner, Maine) answered late with a penalty kick in the 84th minute to seal the 4-1 victory.
BY THE NUMBERS:
- Louis Sehr recorded his first hat trick of the season and now has 10 goals in 2025.
- Eulenberger assisted three of SMCC's four goals.
- SMCC outshot Massasoit 32-6, including 22 shots on goal.
- Ethan Homa (Westbrook, Maine) made 4 saves in goal for his ninth win of the season.
