Lady Seawolves Fall to Lady Wildcats
Durham, NH - The Lady Sewolves went on the road tonight to battle against the UNH lady Wildcats. UNH was able to score four runs in the first inning to put themselves on top 4-0 and they never looked back, ending the contest with a 10-4 victory.

Durham, NH - The Lady Sewolves went on the road tonight to battle against the UNH lady Wildcats. UNH was able to score four runs in the first inning to put themselves on top 4-0 and they never looked back, ending the contest with a 10-4 victory.
SMCC cut the lead in half in the third inning scoring two runs but UNH answered with two runs of their own in the fourth putting them back on top by four with a score of 6-2. The Lady Seawolves fought hard and came up with two more runs but it wasn't enough to overcome the tough Wildcat offense. The Lady Seawolf offense was led byCharlotte Lewis (Chatham, NH) who crushed a two run homer to put SMCC on the board and by Roberta Trafton (Corinth, ME) who went two for three at the plate and scored one run.
With this loss the Lady Seawolves drop to 5-2 overall and 3-2 in conference play. SMCC will return to action with a double header on Sunday September 29th at New Hampshire Technical Institute at noon and 2pm.
